Kaleikoa Explanation

Kiʻa + ʻana

Kona hīmeni ʻana: when/how
Maluhiluhi au i kona hīmeni ʻana: Im tired when (in the event that) she sings. “when”
Kiʻekiʻe kona hīmeni ʻana: She sings high. “how”
Kiʻa noun usage: person ,place thing
Kaʻi + Kikino = Kiʻa…..Ke keiki, Kēia keiki

Kiʻa painu = Kaʻi….Painu…..ʻana….directional

Ke ola ʻana= living…no  ke ola ʻana= for the purpose of living, when alive

Ka ʻulaʻula ʻana (dir.)
Ka hale….ka hale….ka hale ʻana= housing
Ke kula ʻana=schooling
Ka ʻai ʻana…the eating ka ʻai ʻia ʻana= the being eaten

Koʻu ʻai ʻana= my eating     **he “o” ka maʻamau
